Etnaland is an amusement park realized in the neighbourhood of Belpasso (in the province of Catania). Its whole surface is 280.000 square metres, 112.500 of them composed by the only entertainment park, which makes it the biggest one in the south of Italy.

Etnapolis is a multi-use shopping centre designed by the Roman architect Massimiliano Fuksas and inaugurated on November the 23rd 2005. Is located in Belpasso area (Catania), along the SS 121 Catania – Paternò to which is linked with a specific junction.

Etna is a Sicilian volcano born in the Quaternary period and is the highest one in Europe. Frequent eruptions in the centuries modified the surrounding landscape, sometimes threatening people living on its slopes.

The modern system of cablecars able to guest up to 1.200 people per hour, allows to reach Rifugio Sapienza on 2.500 metres on the sea level, from where in winter can be reached the ski area and enter, all over the year, excursions to summit craters. From here, in fact, off-road buses start to reach the top of the volcano.

Established in 729 b.C. by Chalcidians, has a millenary History characterized by several dominations, which remains enriched its artistic, architectural and cultural heritage. Under Aragonese dynasty was capital of the Sicilian Reign.
